Customer Pharmacology Lesson

A guy came in today to get a prescription for generic Lortab 10/500.  When he received his bottle he asked, "do you have any other than the blue ones?"  I told him, "no, the blue ones are the only ones our wholesaler has."  He then responded that "these give me the heartburns and I like the pink ones better because they are pink because they have a pepto bismol coating." I said "I think that is just the coloring and I am pretty sure it is not coated with pepto bismol." He came back with, "well that's what one of the girls I am in nursing school with told me."  (Apparently they know something I don't.)
